I’ve been writing full-time since 1999. I am endlessly interested in the myriad ways that people interact with the mountain environment through backcountry skiing and mountaineering adventures, through art, scientific studies, wildlife biology, photography, filmmaking and writing. My favourite writing projects are those that allow me weave my own outdoor adventures and explorations together with the discoveries, accomplishments and pursuits of others who connect with the mountain environment.
