Lynn’s Speaking

Lynn Martel is a dynamic, naturally gifted storyteller with 15 years public speaking experience. She’s been a featured speaker at the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival, the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival, Wings Over the Rockies, the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, and many other organizations and events.

An authority on how outdoor adventure has shaped Canada’s unique mountain culture, Lynn shares heart-stopping, hilarious and inspiring tales of her own and others’ adventures amidst Canada’s wild alpine landscapes.

Set to a backdrop of stunning photography, Lynn’s talks interweave the cultural, scientific and environmental significance of the region’s enigmatic, precious and rapidly melting glaciers and icefields, and offers steps we can all take to be stewards of the mountain environment.

Robert and his buddy were skiing up the Athabasca Glacier when Robert fell 100 feet into a deep, dark crevasse. What happens next?
